For one hundred years, Coca-Cola has been a pervasive and present part of our culture. However, the company worried people had grown house blind to it. To help rekindle that love affair, we returned to the source of that affection: the glass contour bottle. Wrap your hand around an ice-cold bottle of Coca-Cola and fond memories flood your mind. The ensuing strategy, “Stubborn Optimism,” spoke to the truth at the heart of this product experience: no matter where you are or what your mood, an ice-cold Coca-Cola bottle takes you to a happy place. We hoped the same would happen with our graphic interpretation and supportive design system that visualized this experience in advertising, environments, and packaging.
